By the way, Halifax is one of the cities I lived in. Twice in fact. I worked in one of the towers at Purdy's Wharf and frequently went for walks on the waterfront boardwalk early in the morning before starting work. What a nice memory!

I love Halifax. It's getting tired these days. Barrington Street has really slid downhill. The Historic Properties has become nothing but a shed with a couple of diehard shops remaining. Statutes and bylaws accumulate like unswept litter, but I still love this little rockbound pocket of sea water and stubborn bluenose attitude.
