Interesting point about kindle app on 3rd party devices. I'll certainly look into it, thanks.

The reason i though of using calibre is because i wanted to avoid using kindlegen from the command line. Is there any other way to convert html/css into a mobi or other amazon approved format? Any insight appreciated.
