I've met many people that over stayed their Thai Visa's, most of them just pay the fine. Here in Malaysia, you are arrested and spend some quality time at the Immigration holding area at KLIA, I have heard it's not as bad as Pudu Prison, but no were near as nice as a Canadian prison
There is also an Immigration prison up North by the Thai/Malaysian border, supposed to be very scary!
Not on my Bucket list!
