I'll keep the special paper books, and slowly let the rest go.
Last summer I reoganized my books. Those I read over and over again I bought in the best quality available (smyth-sewn, ivory paper, the works) and everything else went on sale. In the end I made 150€ profit, which is a lot when you consider I bought about a hundred expensive ones in the process, and now I have all in all about 300 books left. These fit into the three shelfs in my bedroom.

Now, I just buy ebooks. There is no need to hoard paperbacks. Some of the re-read books I bought for the third time in my life. First time around cheap paperback had to be exchanged due to yellowing, loosing pages etc. Paperbacks and glued hardbacks just don't have a very long life. But I do. And so I want my books to have. The ones I own now will last until I die.
