it actually helps settle the stomach quite a bit. I think the reason for the stirred coke is that the original coke syrup recipe had stuff in it that helped settle the tummy. nowadays the only thing I can find is *SOME* brands of orange soda, you need to look for the ingredient "bromenated vegetable oil"
