jeez. authors should never respond to negative reviews (or even a positive review at all, as some people might say, since people might feel weird that authors are stalking their own reviews. that's a given, i think, but it's a different matter altogether when they have commented and proven their presence). it's a disaster waiting to happen, as in this case @_@
