Best novel is Jasmine Nights, though that's technically more magical realism roman-a-clef. The Aquiliad, currently in print from Wildside Press (no e-book edition, unfortunately, is an excellent trilogy of what if the Americas were part of the ancient Roman empire due to alien meddling and a well-known Lakota narrated it all. Mallworld is also highly thought of and in-print (I have not read it myself).
