@jbcohen: with Yar-PocketBooker's target audience, he needs to offer readers that provide support for Cyrillic and the fb2 book format. And then Pocketbook and Onyx are the best.
Also, please remember that the readers you mention are dominant in the US only. In the rest of the world you cannot even buy the Nook, and the Kindle does not support the dominant book format in those places (e.g. epub in Western Europe, fb2 in Russia). For instance, here in the Netherlands, Sony and BeBook seem to be dominant. And the BeBook readers are rebranded Onyx readers. In Russia, Pocketbook is the number one, and Onyx the number two on the official market.
And finally, "dominant" does not mean "the best". Perhaps Yar-PocketBooker just wants to go for quality.
