Weird.
I've never had any conversions problems from mobi to ePub or viceverse, including some computer books with heavy formatting. I could probably say was a book issue maybe? I mean, my whole collection is on both formats and have no single book which had conversion problems.
Anyway, if you like and prefer the Nook, please enjoy. What's more important here is that you will be able to start reading and enjoying electronic books, at last.
