No, not Jasper National Park by a long shot. Try Mount Carleton Provincial Park in Northern New Brunswick. The mountain was substantially smaller than anything you might find in Jasper.

The drive from Yellowknife to Edmonton was very stressful because of all the wildlife standing near the road at night. Not squirrels and bunnies either... we saw bison, bears, and loads of elk. I stopped counting those after I got to around 25.

As for the Mobileread meetup, I had a great time. It was in Montreal's charming old port, and I got to meet pshrynk, vernencat, yvanleterrible, tompe, and a few others. Not too shabby, eh?
