bought new computer today... with windows 7...

when i hook the nook to it via the usb cable it says drives are installed and ready to use, however the nook does not go into the charging mode that it did on the old system... it stays readable and is not charging

also ecalibre does not recognize the nook so i'm in a quandry on how to correct this issue

any suggestions?

the usb ports are 2.0 ports and are suffient to handle the nook
