Duokan is an alternative OS that your kindle can boot, not a hack or "jailbreak" that will prevent future Kindle OS updates. Your original Kindle OS is still fully functional. |
Duokan is a great piece of product. I installed it on my DXG and played a bit. It has lots of options but fonts rendering is quite bad comparing to native Amazon software. I dunno why but reading on Duokan was a pain for my eyes. IMHO.
