I thank people all the time... the courteous shop assistant, the people working at the petrol station, the people I work with (I always say 'thanks for a good shift', if it was good), if I drop something, and someone picks it up for me... There are so many reasons to say 'Thank you'!

Today I haven't said 'thank you' to anyone, because I haven't been anywhere.
