Which one indeed!
Hi,
I had decided on a Kindle but I didn't like the idea of sending it off for a battery even though I know their rechargables will last for at least a couple of years. I just don't like the idea of it. Amazon could have easily put in a battery owners could change out.
Then I decided on a nook wi-fi until I learned you have to "register" them with a credit card. They should at least allow gift cards without having to have a credit card as a back-up.
Finally I started reading about the relatively inexpensive tablets that have OK web browsers and function pretty well as ereaders (Coby 7015?) and others.
Guess I'm being too fussy.
I'm darned near broke too. Is there a device that will allow me to use wifi technology to download books from various sources including the public library AND use a web browser for Google searches and the like for $150 or less?
If there isn't now I'm sure there will be a few of them in good time. Remember what DVD players cost when they first arrived on the scene? Now you can get a bare bones player for $30.
