I've updated the Introduction to plugins sticky to point to the new manual page.

The changes are very cool - looking forward to not having to maintain the 4,000 lines of Goodreads Sync plugin in a single file and reducing the repeated copy/paste of common plugin code. Plus of course hopefully reduced support issues from that nasty ZipImport error...
