i am wondering about these people who have rated a certain author's work quite highly. i semi-ranted about said author here before (that i got a book of hers from amazon and it had several grammar errors). so i said to myself, 'well, if lots of people like her, maybe i should give it another go.' so this time i decided to read several reviews, since i didn't want to throw away several dollars. lo and behold, i found reviews that criticized the author's grammar and apparent need to either get an editor, or if she has one, to listen to her editor. only a few people pointed out the grammatical mistakes, which i am grateful for, but i wonder how the rest were able to enjoy it thoroughly...? one said that it was so full of spelling errors, punctuation errors, and most of the sentences no longer made sense.
