We were in the swimming pool at street level just me and my friend Julius G*, when a nice and rather pretty lady that had been walking along the street saw us and apparently was taken by a sudden fancy. She got into the terrace and efficiently undressed, neatly folded her clothes on a chair and jumped in the swimming pool. I did not want to be ogling but I could not avoid noticing that she was a natural auburn. Julius was frozen stiff. Friends and colleges were staring at us from inside the bar with open mouths , crowding over the large windows. To me the gesture appeared absolutely and genuinely admirable and as soon as it was convenient and the lady turned to us, a defiant look in her face, I found the right attitude and the right words to express my appreciation.
