With my eBook reader and the good people of MR I've found many many authors I'd never have found going to a B&M store.
Since getting my Cybook Gen3 a few years ago I've only gone into and actual bookstore, new or used, for children's books. Once my son starts reading chapter books like Hardy Boys I'm sure I wont have to go to a bookstore even for him. I'll just set him up with a simple eBook reader of his own. He already has his eye on the BeBook Mini I'm not using much any more.
