Nice thought, but I've never met a male fan of the Sime~Gen series. I'm sure they must exist, and at least one of the
fanfic authors at the official site has a decidedly masculine name. (I know that's not always definitive, but there really aren't many women who go by "John.")
I just can't figure out who's supposed to be interested in the book based on that cover. I'm not sure a scene remotely like that (even ignoring the wrongness of the clothes) even happens in the book--as in, I'm not sure there's ever a girl on horseback.
