My only problem with the battery bump is that it makes it near impossible to find a good case for it. I ended up making one myself, not real happy with it, but it works. I never noticed the added weight of it until I ended up getting a Kobo on the cheap at one of the Borders that's closing and now I notice a big difference. Otherwise, it's a good reader and I'm sure I'll continue to use it. The batteries do have the advantage of being replaceable and can use rechargeable ones which is not a big deal now, but who knows in the future if the battery in the Kobo goes bad.
