I got my only F for a group project. I did not have time for it. My parents were in the hospital dying. I was a grown woman with responsibilities. I worked full time and the other two girls wanted to meet and plan and stuff like that. I told them to decide what we would do and that I could meet them for an hour or so to pull it together.
They decided to chat when we met, instead of getting down to brass tacks, so I left pretty soon. They gave a very nice presentation, and I sat there looking at the class. They got A's, I got an F, and moved on. Still got a B in the class, because presentations did not count for much.
I remember it so clearly because it was a grad class from just a few years ago.
