That's a personal choice. Lot of people never visit a public library, myself included. They can also be too far or lack of good titles.
Because the type of books I read and like, I find nothing useful or interesting there. I am not saying public libraries are bad, but they are not for me. Other users share the same opinion and that's the main reason Kindle 3 is so popular.
