Damn I really wanted the TRS-80 100, but my parents didn't think this computer fad would go anywhere. We had a TRS-80 III I remember trying to learn TRSDOS, it wasn't all that easy, we did have a copy of ZORK, played that till the floppies died.

My parents finally bought a 486 class machine in 97 and are still using it and a PowerBook G4, they prefer the Mac, so I doubt the old 486 gets used at all. The funny thing is that my brother that still lives in the same city is an IT professional, but he doesn't like to help them with the computer, so I will get calls at 4am, mom always says, "Did I wake you?". Oh well.
