If the kindle is registered to your account, send Amazon CS An email (or you can call them) with the kindle's Amazon name (ie the name that appears at the top of the kindle on the left side) and they will let you know the exact date the kindle was shipped from their warehouse. I have done this a couple of times when I was selling kindles and wanted to know for warranty purposes. They replied within 12 hours.
