In our country practically everything is taxed, including one's pay. For an ordinary citizen it would be hard to get bankrupt by not paying one's tax bill, as tax is deducted every month.
But it happens that people who declare the wrong income, market vendors or businessmen or frauds: yes, they'll get an assessment and have to pay up.
If they can't at once, they have to pay in parts. It's not the usual thing here to go bankrupt on tax-issues.
