I knew most of that, but I didn't know that CM7 was Gingerbread. Thanks for clearing that up.

I think my best bet is to wait on the update and hope the autonooter developer comes out with something to root that.

But here is what I'm a bit confused about. You say you wiped out your NC and put CM7 on it. Is there a way to put CM7 without completely wiping out the device, meaning have it be something like what I have now with Eclair? The B&N stock is not the best, but I don't want to get rid of magazines and kids books, and from what I've read there will be more interactive cookbooks which may be part of the stock and I'm interested in that.
