I installed 4.3 on my first-generation iPad (32 GB, WiFi only) three days ago. Almost immediately, Safari started running slower

and some apps began to get laggy and/or crash. In addition, battery life began to degrade to the point that, even in standby, I'm losing approx. 15% per hour. This is problematic in that I'm planning to sell this to a family member to help finance purchase of an iPad 2, and I don't think I could presently do so with a clear conscience. So I hope the aforementioned "update update" really is on the horizon.
