Converting Java Rogue to Rogue for Kindle?

I'm sorry, this is probably pretty rude, but I thought I'd put it out there in case one of the uber-hackers on site were interested. I'm not a programmer (I'm lucky if I can keep my machine in-line), but I get the impression that Kindlet programming is almost the same as Java programming?

There is a cool online rogue (java):

He's even released the source - though he doesn't say under what kind of licence:
http://www.hexatron.com/more.html

Considering it's open source in the first place ... would it be a difficult job? Would anyone here want to take it on?
