Sony's new reader also has an eInk Pearl display. I think they need a Pearl reader, or the nook is going to look like a second class citizen in Best Buy when people compare it to the Sony or Kindle.

Even the Best Buy Sales guy can't tell the difference in the pearl screen, I've thrown the updated nook against the kindles Pearl Screen and I have to tell you the Pearl Screen is THE most overated spec. Bar NONE, Pearl screen was slightly better but by a hair and how all the Kindlebots rave about it as if we just put Man on Mars as this ooohh sooo fantastic innovation is mind boggling.
Let's all these Pearl screen junkies shoot back down from the moon, it's a slightly better contrast, THAT'S IT.
And if Eink doesn't do something dramatic and soon all these tablets coming out will swallow it up.
