It really is, and the more I think about it the more it pisses me off and I think I'll make them give me the fine. The stupid thing is that I have voted in every election since I have been here and the people I voted for were always the ones that lost the elections

The fact that the government can do this to people outside the country is amazing. I am meeting up with some other Canadian Expats soon so I assume this will be on the agenda! The funny thing is that if I hadn't registered with the Hi-Com when I came, they wouldn't even know I was here.
