Just thought I'd report in on the low-battery behaviour. You still get a "warning" screen telling you that the battery is low - as before, you cannot move past this screen until you plug-in the device. I think the wording of the message has changed though - it oddly said that I needed to plug-in my device and then not turn it on for 15 minutes, after that I would be able to continue to read. But as soon as you plug it in, the device starts itself, so I don't know what the 15 minutes is about.

Anyways, the best news is - when I opened my book, I was exactly where I was when the warning came up! I hope this is a permanent behaviour and not a one-off!
