Asus T91mt works great for comics
I've had great success using my Asus T91mt with comics (tons of windows 7 compatible software like Comic Rack). It has an 8.9 inch touchscreen, pinch to zoom, relatively small weight, dual SD Card slots, 2gb of ram, and wakes from sleep instantly.

This is sort of a shameless plug since I need to sell mine now (I listed it in the Flea Market forum here for $250).
