Of course I was referring to a more robust lending scheme, and moving into the new era of uncopyrightability, where everything is read before purchase, and payment methods are retained in the book across lends.

Amazon wouldn't really need to exist, all books would become viral as is their wont. The author uploads, the readers download and share.
