Hi,

For anyone who is experiencing this problem, please redownload the desktop software from http://www.kobobooks.com/desktop. There is no need to sign out or resync your library, just reinstall on top of your current installation.

Most 1.9 users were not affected by this issue, so if you don't see this problem occurring, there is no need to reinstall.
