saw the thread where the NY times paywall has been cracked.

for some reason, that really annoys me. i'm getting tired of people who seem to want everything for free and don't want to shell out for it! don't they realize that journalists and other staff work hard and sometimes (no, make that most of the time recently) risk their lives just to deliver stories, and when they charge for access to those stories, people just say, "no, no way am i paying those fees. i want it for free, and i don't care about how you feel." <--- of course that's not what people really say, but i feel that's what they really feel, and when is an emotional rant rational, anyway? xD; i just wish that newspapers had never offered free news online at all (that was a stupid move, really), so that people wouldn't have gotten used to the freebies, and whine like little children when they're being asked to pay up.

for some reason i don't understand why people would despise communal living; they would get goods and services for free, at least, the ideal type of communal living not the failed ones we've known. blah. i guess maybe they feel that the products produced in communal living are inferior to those in a competitive society. competition just makes human beings treat each other like animals. :| i'm tired of living if people are like this.

i don't know. maybe this frustration comes from my being a failed writer; i've always wanted to be one but my parents told me i would starve. well, with people like those, now i can see why. i'm getting sick of human beings being cruel to each other. WHAT'S THE POINT OF LIVING IF ALL YOU WANT IS TO ONE-UP THE OTHER PERSON ALL THE TIME?

WE MAY HAVE FREEDOM, BUT THERE IS CERTAINLY NO DIGNITY IN THAT WAY OF LIFE. in fact, aren't most of what we deem as 'achievements' are usually at the expense of another person? :| why can't we live together peacefully? we're just too many. too many people in the world... :|

OH, AND THAT COPYRIGHT THINGY LIFE++++++? THAT'S BS. WHAT DO THEY THINK THEY ARE, AIRLINE FARES? HOW CAN IT BE "LIMITED" IF THERE'S ENOUGH PLUSES TO COVER YOUR ENTIRE FREAKING FAMILY HISTORY?

i'm also really tired of people who feel that they have to argue with you whenever you post your own opinion. i just usually post then leave. i just want to put in my worthless opinion which i'm sure the OP feels is beneath their opinion.

hmm...kind of tired of living, actually. but i'm too much of a coward to do anything about it. i hate pain :|
