Ygor was a character made famous by Bela Lugosi's portrayal in the
Son of Frankenstein (the third in the series, and the last to feature Boris Karloff as the monster). He was not a hunchback, but had a broken neck; the result of a failed hanging for body snatching.

In the 1931 film
Frankenstein, Dwight Iliff Frye did indeed play Dr. Frankenstein's hunchback assistant, often incorrectly identified as "Ygor" or "Igor." Does anyone remember his name?
Hint: It's also the name of an infamous cartoon cat.
