Uhhh. The left side when you're IN the bed, or the left side when you're standing at the foot looking at the pillows at the head?
I sleep on the left side (when I'm in the bed). When I'm reading, the light from the Kindle cover is pointing away from the lump
on the other side of the bed. It works for us.
