It is more flexible. I used MS Reader for almost 7 years in last one week I have come to know the Mobipocket and I will never go back to MS Reader.
What I like about Mobipocket:
- Very light on system resources, specially the desktop Mobipocket reader is very very light.
- Excellent interface with the PC. The desktop reader manages the library and various devices associated with your PC. You can send a book streight to your chosen device from the library.
- More versatile and flexible PPC version, gives you control over the fonts, font size, even the size of the margins.
- Auto-scroll function in the Pocket PC version.
I have used the PPC version for only a few times during the last week but it is a more refined experience than the one offered by MS Reader. Hopefully I will explore it further and discover more features in coming weeks.
I can actually use it for reading, the desktop reader is so good!
The library interface has seamless links to library and bookstore as well as news:
