So… Wildside is the new Baen, then? I swear, they throw random darts at a spaceship/guns/scantily-clad woman/person with oversized sword/large furry or scaly beast bingo board and send the results off to the designated artist who, of course, has never read the book's blurb, much less the actual text.

Personally, I think that at this point anyone buying has probably already heard of the series and is desperate to get their own copies and will overlook the #3 designation. Wildside is pretty much mostly a specialty reprint/occasional new stuff by established authors who aren't getting their stuff published elsewhere publisher.

Maybe once books #1 & 2 are out, it'll look like a clever marketing ploy, getting people to think they have to buy all three volumes to properly understand the chronological 1st book.
