I have no problem with the power and HDD LEDs, although I wonder why they have to be bright enough to light up the room. A lot of casing now have LEDs behind the front mesh (even the seemingly standard casings) and the gaming casings have "windows" on the side of the casing which are also lighted.
It seems that, at least the local, computer shops think desktop PCs are only for gamers.
