It sounds to me like your problem is that the battery
has died, MSWallack -- they'll do that when left alone for a long enough period.
Try plugging it into the wall charger (not USB!) and leaving it
at least until the red charging light over the power switch goes out on it's own. If you can let it charge from the wall overnight, that's even better.
If that doesn't clear things up for you, then you've most likely got some sort of hardware failure, but I'd lay odds upwards of 98% that it's just a flat battery.
