No problems here. But I did see that some people had issues with the "restore" option to transfer their old settings to the new:

My Angry BirdsHD and Angry Birds Seasons (and Dungeon 2 HD) transferred over with my old levels and progress intact. I had to re-enter my login/passwords for some apps, but oddly, not all.

But if you are giving your wife the new iPad 2, and keeping yours, she can also just set it up completely new, and then use your iTunes account to re-download the apps you already purchased, without extra charge. Probably the smoothest path.
