I either didn't state it well or I'm just wrong, don't know which.

I just meant that on normal torrent tracking sites (I use a meta meta tracker, torrentz.eu, searches most of the big ones like piratebay, bitmon, so on) you can only find torrents for big name authors.

Then there are the IRC channels, which take forever to use, have poor selections in weird formats and often have scanned books. I think a lot of people would rather pay $5 for a book than bother with them.

But maybe there are easier methods I don't know about.
