It must have cost money to develop the product, then why not sell it? The PRS-650 has been more or less unavailable ever since before Christmas - being able to buy one feels like a lottery winning. If Sony does not care about making money from it, why did they produce it at all?

Executives do make wrong decisions at times, or plain overlook something. Yes, even executives from major companies
