@commandercup: Err, yeah, that's Droid, not DejaVu, right. But, yeah, I'm using DejaVu to fill up the blanks because there's no Italic style for Droid Sans, and a fake italic looked like crap.
As for the Droid Sans package, that's also droid sans+deja vu sans, and yeah, it does work on 3.x. If you're having issues with it (blank pages & stuff), see the numerous posts about that throughout this thread.
Short story: can't reproduce it, only happens on some Kindles, using an FT override should 'fix' it.
