Big question:
Is this a real publisher or a vanity publisher?
If it's a real publisher, great! Looks like a foot in the door -- much better, as people have said, than a "no, thank you". There might be a contract, with all that implies, at the end of it. Time to bounce up and down a little (but not too much until the publisher's check is in your bank; remember, the most important words any publisher can write to you are "pay to the order of...").
If it's a vanity publisher, the only thing they care you can write is your name on the check, so after sufficient pseudo-real posturing, they'll "accept" it and start wanting payment. Flee while you can.
