I'd like to see the Media taken to court and sued for 'Causing Mental Anguish.' As I said before, I'm getting many e-mails every day from friends and family around the world, asking if;
I have drinking water
Our phones are working
We have electricity
I am able to reach the airport
I am ready to evacuate my home
We have taken adequate precautions against the high radiation levels
etc., etc., etc....
Very kind and caring, but we live almost a thousand miles away from the small area affected by the tsunami... All of Japan and the rest of Asia have NOT been inundated by the tsunami! And the radiation levels have never even approached the danger level measured for ONE YEAR OF EXPOSURE much less for a quick dose. Japan is about 150,000 sq miles. Less than 700 sq miles were affected. The other 149,300 sq miles are just fine. But the world doesn't get that message from the media.
Perhaps one good multi-million dollar law suit might make the media take a more responsible approach, one where the facts were more important than the Gallup Poll ratings.
