Correct. Bigger screen and different apps, of course. One is not better than the other but different. I would try to compare the Xoom against iPad, but I don't consider fair comparing GT vs iPad, because the size.

I use the iPad for browse Internet, PDFs and magazines, even for fun or play with GarageBand, for example.

The GT is like an extension of my Outlook Calendar, it syncs with my Outlook calendar at work. I use it as GPS, accespoint and browsing on the go, even check or use my bank accounts. Also, occasionally reading from Nook or Kindle for Android.

I can't use VPN on either of those, because no USB ports. Don't remember if Moto Xoom has USB ports.
