I anticipate that over time most of AppStore application will not work on iPad 1 since iPad 2 has better "power under the shell" which is a Holly Grail for developers. Hoverer it should never happen to applications like reader or notepad.

prolly not but perhaps the OP can use some good advice though. Not to worry just teasing you because I make that sort of typo all the time!
