Well now I'm curious, do any of the tablets out there refresh at any speed other then 60Hz?

I think that I don't know what the difference would be. For me my LCD displaying at 60Hz is much better then a CRT at 60hz. And aren't the refresh rates of LCD kind of misleading anyway, it's not like CRT where the phosphor decays between refreshes?

FWIW, reading on an IPad bothers my eyes.
